Good enough while it lastedNov 05, 2009 Worked pretty well while it worked. Had to press power button several times before it would stay on.
After using for a a little over one month it stopped recharging my iPhone. It shows fully powered but the phone does not respond when docked. Just a paper weight now.
iphone batterySep 14, 2009 It's only been a few weeks and not really enough time to find any flaws with the thing, but it does look nice and not terribly bulky and definitely quite a good value. For what it sells for it's a no brainer go get yourself one.

Works wellAug 11, 2009 ok, it is a tab bulky because, after all, the iphone is not a small phone. But if you want something that is not likely to break your adapter by protruding out the bottom - this is it. The iphone goes into it so it is safe. Battery life is good and it turns off when depleted. It does not charge by usb you need an iphone jack to charge it. I would buy it again.
Great product, Great PriceMay 22, 2009 I get great battery life out of this battery pack. It has saved my on many occasions. It can also be used a a doc, to prop the iphone up and view the display hands free. This is great for reading books with autoscroll without having to hold up the iphone.
Their are two things that I would like added to this product. A battery level indicator would be good, so you know how much juice is left. Another improvement would be to have have the batter charging use a standard USB cable instead of the iphone cable. USB cables are dime a dozen, and the battery extender won't let you sync your iphone through it, so why not use the standard cable instead? Just a thought. Other than that, this product is awesome and for the price, is unbeatable.

Good spare power on tap but could use some improvements.May 18, 2009 Having extra power on tap is great especially when you do not have the chance of charging on the go. This unit charges your phone very quickly, and also allows you to charge on the go without having an external pack dangling on the bottom of your phone like most models do. The only other charger that's similar to this is one by NCASE, but that will set you back $80-100 dollars. The iphone fits snug and secure on the battery pack. Insertion and removal is also easy. This battery pack gives an approximate charge of 1.2x. So it's basically doubling the power of your iphone. It also comes with a silicon case to protect the phone and that also fits securely over the phone and the battery pack. Now on to the downsides of this item:
The silicon case quality is marginal. Although it does a good job protecting both the iphone and the battery pack, it's unattractive, and the quality is poor. Cutouts aren't straight, and it also acts as a dust magnet. The battery pack itself also covers the camera lens, so you have to detach your phone from the battery pack to take pictures. The bulkiness this unit adds is also unattractive, and your iphone looks like a rectangular brick that is twice as thick. There is also no clip. Having your iphone twice as thick makes it ackward to put into your pant pocket.
For the price you can't really complain. It costs 5x less than the NCASE pack. If it came with a clip, a hole for the camera lens, and better silicon case, this would be a perfect external battery pack add on.
